Dressing-Spindle-Systems

While CNC-dressing with rotary diamond dressers, control and improvement of the grinding application is possible. The additional rotating movement of the dresser causes a "softer" dressing of the grinding wheel compared to a stationary dresser and allows a longer lifetime. Different dressing systems - consisting of spindle, rotary dresser and accessories - for almost all CNC-dressing applications are available. Spindle systems can easily be installed into your existing grinding machine.

Spindle

The dressing spindles are manufactured to meet the highest standards for expected T.I.R., dynamic stiffness, constant speed, current and touch sensing. The spindle is developed for the most demanding applications and comes standard equipped with a PTC-thermal sensor, variable speed and touch sensor. To achieve high lifetime, the spindles have self-contained construction with labyrinth seal and air purge.

Rotary Diamond Dresser

For dressing of conventional grinding wheels as well as vitrified CBN- and diamond grinding wheels different NC-dresser types are available. Depending on the dressing application and grinding wheel typ different kinds of dressers such as NC-dressers in PCD or natural diamond, pointcrush dresser or impregnated bonded dressing discs are available. It is possible to achieve tighter than standard form tolerances, T.I.R. and parallelism if the dresser is ground directly on the spindle.
